Features world-class habitat displays and temporary exhibits on a variety of topics related to Minnesota's great outdoors.  The museum also maintains extensive research collections of birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and fish.  Free for UofM students, staff, and faculty.

Frerick R. Weisman Art Museum

A University gallery was founded in 1934 to give sutdents and al Minnesota citizens access to works of art and the cultural ideas they express.  Six to eight exhibits are presented annually, as well as educational programs that support the museum's mission.

The Goldstein is a museum and research center for interpreting the role of art and design in everyday life through exhibitions of the permanent collection, faculty and student work, and traveling exhibitions.  The permanent collection is composed of historic dress and designer fashions, textiles, decorative arts, and graphic arts.

Enjoy free late night activities such as movies, concerts, crafts, recreation, and dance lessons ever Friday and Saturday night at Coffman Memorial Union.  Gophers After Dark offers free shuttles that circulate from the East and West Bank to the St. Paul campus as well as free parking in the East River Road Garage.

Northrop is a hub for cultural enrichment, intellectual exploration, celebration, and commemoration.  The 4,800-seat theater welcomes students at freshman convoation and honors their degrees at commencement.  Its stage hosts a grand array of big-name entertainers and musical headliners.  Full-time students qualify for a special discount on Northrop season performances.  Summer at Northrop features free outdoor concerts at noon during the summer.

Minnesota Marching Band

Be part of this colorful and exciting tradition that features the impressive Big Ten "high step."  With a history dating to 1893, the Minnesota Marching Band now includes more than 280 students and is one of the best in the nation.
